Episode #32: A Woman's Story with Vulvodynia, Vaginismus, Bladder Urgency & a History of Anxiety.

In this episode of The Women's Pelvic Health Podcast, I am joined by a 23 year old woman named Naomi. Naomi shares her deeply personal story with pelvic pain. She discusses the multiple factors that contributed to her pain, such as anxiety, stress, infections, and traumatic sexual experiences, in addition to the symptoms she had and what her healing journey looked like. We talk about several incredibly important aspects of what it takes to heal from any chronic pain condition, including therapy, self acceptance and forgiveness. Naomi shares with us how she has gotten to a place where she is now comfortable talking about her story and the most important lessons she has learned from navigating these difficult challenges.
